Exercises We Do
- Sprints – 115-120 RPM (as comfortable) on a flat road gear
- Seated Pushes – 100+ RPM on a light-to-medium hill gear
- Standing Climbs (also called Stomps) – 60-85 RPM on a heavy hill gear (usually stomping to the rhythm)
- Jumps – 55-105 RPM – 1/2 count – 1-count or 2-count i.e. half or one or two revolutions of the legs at each position – up/forward/back/down – flat road gear plus some small resistance
- Push Ups – Heavy gear – Standing – Up and Down – Elbows going out and in
- Hill Sprints – Standing sprints – 105-120 RPM (as comfortable) – Light-to-Medium Hill gear
- Seated Climbs – 50-70 RPM – heavy hill gear – in the saddle the whole time

Meet Me
Justin Broughton has worked at Google for more than five years on building tools and infrastructure for mobile developers. He is the Tech Lead and Manager for Firebase Test Lab – one of the suite of tools under the Firebase umbrella.
Prior to this he was VP Engineering at a number of large and small companies, working on building software in diverse areas such as Contact Centers and Health-Gaming.
He is also an avid Spin Instructor and exercise fanatic.
